Working with clients presenting with Anxiety using CBT Interventions (am) and Mindfulness (pm)

CPD postponed due to covid 19 dates to be
rearranged as soon as possible

Clients presenting with symptoms of Anxiety can often be helped by teaching them specific skills. Both parts of the day are aimed at enabling people to understand, reduce and manage anxiety and to give therapists a set of skills/tools to teach and work alongside clients.

The morning will be focussed on interventions based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy looking at thinking styles and interventions to help reduce anxiety as well as looking at what anxiety is so that it can be normalised for the client.

The afternoon is focussed on mindfulness and incorprates exercises to reduce anxiety symptoms along with skills to teach clients so that they can practice at home.
